Our Community

EPS is committed to being involved in our community and to providing volunteer opportunities for our employees and clients.  From clearing bike trails and helping kids make holiday gifts to helping a not-for-profit “go green”, EPS strives to be a good corporate citizen.  Here are a few of our recent activities:

Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia

EPS is a Champion level sponsor of the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia.  As a Partner we commit to improving environmental performance through the development of environmental policies, conservation and waste reduction, and employee education. EPS fulfills its Partner obligations by supporting and participating community outreach through the Rivers Alive Program and other events in partnership with the National Parks Service with focus on the Chattahoochee National Park.

Rivers Alive

EPS is a sponsor of and participant with Rivers Alive, Georgia’s waterway cleanup organization.  Rivers Alive is a partnership between the Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources Adopt-a-Stream Program and the Georgia Dept. of Community Affairs Keep Georgia Beautiful Program.  For the past couple of years, EPS has partnered with our friends at Geiger Furniture to participate in a picnic area cleanup (in response to a major flood) and to clear hiking and biking trails near the Chattahoochee River.

Devereux Georgia

Devereux Georgia is a non-profit group that provides therapeutic emotional and social help to youth and adults.  EPS has supported Devereux Georgia’s efforts to “Go Green”.  EPS met with organization representatives and identified energy, waste, and water management practices for their campus north of Atlanta.  These “Go Green” ideas are intended to help Devereux Georgia meet its sustainability goals, while reducing resource expenses.

We Care

Herman Miller, along with several business associates including EPS, hosted a holiday gathering for children in need at the Boys & Girls Club in Atlanta.  EPS staff helped the children create hand-made holiday gifts for their parents and loved ones.

Kaiser Permanente Corporate Challenge

The Kaiser Permanente Corporate Challenge is a 5K run walk and company picnic held each year at Turner Field in Atlanta.  The event benefits the Atlanta Community Food Bank and the Atlanta Braves Foundation.  A team from EPS, along with our friends at Geiger International, participated in the event, which promotes health and fitness among metro-Atlanta companies and their employees.

Arbor Jam

EPS sponsors the annual Arbor Jam, which benefits the Georgia Urban Forest Council,  helping GUFC sustain Georgia’s green legacy by helping communities grow healthy trees.
